Battery backup for elevator rescue operation
The LR750 monitors the mainline supply and generates AC power during a power failure so a compatible elevator controller can carry out its rescue operation. It supports hydraulic automatic rescue and traction manual rescue applications, subject to the controller interface and installation requirements.
The controller determines the rescue sequence. The LR750 is a source of emergency power for that sequence; it is not a whole-building UPS or a source for continued normal elevator service.
Built-in features include an OLED status display, CAN-BUS reporting, ready and rescue signals, smart charging, and an automatic battery test every 24 hours. The connections and controls section documents the interface.
Choose the enclosure and voltage class
Standard and MRL describe the enclosure. The -2 and -4 suffixes identify separate output voltage classes. One unit does not cover the entire 200-480 VAC range.

LR750 technical specifications
The following values are from the LR750 manual. Confirm the enclosure and mounting requirements for the exact model before installation.
Dimensional clarification: the manual is the authoritative reference for the LR750 Standard enclosure: height 7.3 in, width 6 in, depth 8.5 in. The older Standard drawing contains conflicting dimensions and must not be used to establish installation clearances. These Standard dimensions do not describe the MRL enclosure.

LR750 selection questions
Is the LR750 suitable for a 480 V application?
The LR750-4 voltage class has an adjustable 400-480 VAC output. Confirm the required supply, charger connection, load, and controller interface for the specific application before selecting a model.
Will it run the elevator normally during an outage?
The LR750 is intended for emergency rescue power. Its 500 W rating and limited generation cycles should not be treated as a specification for continued normal elevator operation or traction drive power.
Does MRL identify the elevator drive type?
No. MRL means Machine Room Less and describes the installation arrangement. Identify whether the elevator is hydraulic or traction separately from choosing an enclosure.
How do I confirm controller compatibility?
Send Dynavect the controller manufacturer and model, relevant electrical drawings, required voltage, loads, and rescue sequence. Compatibility needs review for the installation; a matching voltage alone is insufficient.
